About

My name is Tyler McCall and I am a college student in North Carolina. I love people, learning about other cultures, Jesus, traveling, hanging out in coffee shops, pretending I can keep a Blog, painting, drawing, reading, and trying to change the world around me. I hope you enjoy my Blog!

Aww September

Well, it's the 1st of another month already. When I think about September the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, September 11. I've been reading a book lately for one of my classes and the author has written a lot about 9/11 and the aftermath, more specifically all of the anger towards Muslims and such. It is pretty hard to believe that this year will mark the 6th year anniversary of that horrible event. Well...enough of that.

Last night Sarajane, Matt, April, and Anna and myself spent some time together just hanging out and talking in my room. It was nice. Then, we found out about this little worship service thing going on at the spring and we went down and joined in. What was so amazing is that the people at the spring playing guitar and singing were all freshman! It was so good to see freshman building community among themselves and to see them worshipping on there own without someone else leading it or organizing it. This is just another reason I am so excited about this freshman class! I really love them. I can't wait to see what God is going to do in them and through them this year here at GWU...
